The Food & Drink scene in Cornwall is vibrant with the county now recognised as a leading food and drink destination. With just under 300 miles of coastline, oyster beds and mussel farms the quality of the seafood is excellent as are the locally grown vegetables and locally reared meat. During the year there are several food and drink festivals held throughout the county and see our listings for details.

 Restaurants

The quality of the restaurants in Cornwall has improved enormously over the last 10 years and the standard now is very good and still improving. There are restaurants to suit all palates and pockets.

Public Houses

Cornwall is blessed with some excellent pubs and breweries serving and producing some of the country's finest ales. Beer festivals occur throughout the year and see our listings for details.

Farmers' Markets and Farm Shops

Cornwall's food producers, whose products can be seen and purchased at the many farm shops and Cornwall farmers' markets are amongst the best in the country . There are excellent beer, cider and wine producers in Cornwall supplying the local pub and restaurant trades as well as 'exporting' to England and elsewhere. Of course there is also the Cornish cream (clotted or otherwise), ice cream, butter and milk!
