Pendennis Castle - Cornwall's Greatest Fortress

There's so much to do at Pendennis Castle; see a Tudor gun deck in action and experience the sights and sounds of battle; find out what it was like to be a garrison soldier at the turn of the last century;explore the cells of the WWI guardhouse; encounter the thrill of an enemy alert on the WWII observation post before descending through the castle tunnels to the big guns and magazines at Half Moon Battery; then why not enjoy a cream tea in the relaxing surroundings of our tearoom.

Visit in the summer and enjoy one of our exciting live events - from time travelling activities for kids to the thrill of the joust there is something for everyone at Pendennis in 2011.

Tintagel Castle - Where Myth and Mystery Abound

Enjoy a mystical day out at Tintagel Castle and experience the ever changing atmosphere of this magical place.  Said to be the birthplace of King Arthur; you can still visit the nearby Merlin's Cave and on Wednesdays throughout August let our storytellers mesmerise you with legends of this mysterious king.

Set high on the rugged North Cornwall coast, Tintagel's dramatic views, fascinating ruins and rugged trails make for an adventure lover's dream, and our superb Beach Cafe is on hand to offer the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of your visit.

Dogs on leads are permitted at both sites so your four-legged friend can join in your adventures too.
